What can I say? Life's been a bit hectic, what with beating myself up on a canyoning adventure on holiday, and talking myself to death at the CIEP conference last weekend. I might have to write a separate post about that one, because it's quite a shock as an introvert to discover a group of people that I can talk to at such length. Editors are my people, I suppose! So here, a little late, is the next plan for Virtual Write Club:
The practicalities:
Meeting format
7.30-8.15 p.m. (UK time): Topic presentation, discussion, exercise, group feedback.
8.15-9.30 p.m.: Group members read from their work (2,000 words, approx) – sharing their work on their screen if possible. Group then gives feedback for each – what the writer did well and why, and suggestions for consideration.
